Slovakia, 18th April 2013- Antik Technology, a Slovakia-based manufacturer of IPTV devices, unveils information of new cost-effective solution - hybrid set-top box Juice Mini II based on chipset Liege STiH207 by STMicrosystems with higher performance and low power features that replaced previous STi7105. ANTIK plans to launch it in the third quarter 2013.
New hybrid set-top box with dual DVB tuner (DVB-T/DVB-S2) + IP has enhanced Host CPU (1200DMIPS, 650 MHz) performance through an L2 cache and faster DDR performance with DDR3.
Device with enhanced video decoding perfomance supports dual H264 HD decoding (2 x HP @L4.1, 1080i/720p). It allows HD web content video decoding including DivX and MP4pt2 to 1080p30 and 3DTV decoding with HDMI1.4b support.
Juice Mini II with STiH207 is cost-effective solution because of higher perfomance and low power features target of < 0.5 W set-top box total standby power in controller passive standby mode.

ANTIK Technology has informed about delivery of HD transcoding solution to Iceland, to a new startup company “Streaming Media”. Juice Hi-Density Transcoder pushes the costs of ASIC HW transcoding easily under 600 USD per output stream in up to 120 stream system.
Slovakia, 31th January 2013 - ANTIK Technology, EU-based manufacturer of IPTV devices has delivered transcoding solution to Icelandic startup company “Streaming Media” they will be the first IPTV OTT provider in Iceland, to help them to start with OTT content delivery project. Transcoding and transrating solution consists of ANTIK´s Juice Hi-Density Multi-stream Transcoder based on ultra-fast ViXS chipset. 1U rack allows to real-time transcode up to 15 SD or HD channels based on ASIC – Application-Specific Integrated Circuit. With 8 transcoding modules Juice can manage up to 120 channels in one system.

of IPTV set-top boxes Juice as optimal solution for OTT video delivery. The set-top box with HLS support is
accompanied by Juice HLS streaming server platform.
October 25.10.2011 - Antik Technology, provider of IPTV solutions,
announces new feature of the Juice line of IPTV set-top boxes - HTTP Live Streaming standard (HLS). The
technological innovation is part of comprehensive IPTV solution called Juice Media Server Family for HTTP Live
Streaming based on streaming server platform made by Antik that supports OTT full adaptive streaming and
multi-screen video.
HTTP Live Streaming lets distribute stream live video and audio over HTTP using public internet to the computers
or TV. "Our developers created set-top box that supports HTTP Live Streaming. HLS allows stream live and on
demand video through internet also in less stable networks because of its protocol type and STB buffer. We offer
end-to-end solution for companies that provide over-the-top content delivery from now," said Igor Kolla, Antik
Technology CEO.
HLS supports both live broadcasts and video on demand. It works by breaking the overall stream into a sequence
of small HTTP-based file download. Each download loading one short 10-second chunk of an overall potentially
unbounded transport stream. Set-top box Juice by Antik with HLS has a buffer that helps also in worse conditions
- problems with slow and unstable network, broadband router, connection with computer etc. The buffer acts as
temporary store to smooth out any variations in the video stream when the connection breaks down. HTTP Live
Streaming is able of traversing any firewall or proxy server that lets through standard HTTP traffic unlike
UDP-based protocols. Antik Technology implements the feature of HLS support to the all set-top boxes Juice –
Basic, Mini, Pro, 3D Extreme and Hybrid. One of set-top boxes supporting HLS made by Antik is showed on next

Slovak IPTV specialst Antik Technology said it delivered Juice Pro set-top boxes, as well as an IPTV
management server and middleware to the palace of Prince Muhammed bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud in Saudi Arabia in
August.
The prince is the governor of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and a
business partner of a conglomerate associated with construction and imports. Antik supplied an IPTV system, part
of a fully converged IP network designed specifically for the palace by ICT specialist BMB KSA.

Scientific Atlanta provided the technological system and Antik Technology the IPTV head-end equipment. Juice Pro

Central European IPTV hardware producer ANTIK Technology unveils details about one of the first hybrid 3D set‐top
boxes for IPTV in the world. The device uses the most advanced SoC from STMicroelectronics and its PCB design’s
prototype will be presented at IPTV World Forum 2011 in London.
March 17, 2011 – Slovak IPTV device manufacturer Antik Technology prepares a new member of the Juice line of
IPTV set‐top boxes‐‐the latest high‐end hybrid DVB/IP set‐top box based on the STi7108 System‐on‐Chip with
integrated high‐performance host processor, dedicated 3D graphics, a hard‐disk interface for PVR capability
and Ethernet and USB connections, allowing users to connect equipment such as DVR storage, external Flash or
hard‐disk drives.
ANTIK Technology’s Juice 3D Extreme is a high‐end hybrid DVB/IP set‐top box using the capabilities of the
new SoC. The STi7108 provides the STB with high processing power, smooth web experience, and gaming. 3D
capabilities such as 3D TV experience, 3D Electronic Programme Guide user interface with 3D video content.
The integrated SoC works with high energy efficiency due to the low power configurable architecture. STi7108
is using ARMMali‐400 graphics processor compatible with Khronos Open GL ES 2.0 to provide excellent 3D
visual experience and for fast execution of Javabased STB middleware engines as well as Javascript and Flash
Player components for on‐line VOD and other content delivered via the internet.
The integrated STi7108 is able to decode video in industry‐standard formats, including H.264, MVC, MPEG2,
VC‐1 or WMV9 Internet video, as well as MPEG4, up to high‐definition resolution 1080p 50/60 simultaneously
with 1080p/720p picture‐in‐picture or mosaic formats. The device provides inputs for up to six transport
streams, and provides full‐resolution HD 3DTV over HDMI 1.4 with HDCP copy protection.
"We have decided to use this chip to offer richer viewing experience for end users and increased flexibility
for TV service providers," said Igor Kolla, ANTIK Technology's CEO. "We believe that the new addition into
Juice line of set‐top boxes will be a good answer for the current demand for 3D hardware."
Juice 3D Extreme is one of the first set‐top boxes using the world's most advanced high‐definition
set‐top‐box chip to date. The prototype of the finished PCB design will be showcased at the IPTV World Forum
2011 in London.
In our plans we can not forget for events at our northern neighbors. Company Antik Technology is planning to visit
two exhibitions in Poland in a row. These two are PLNOG in Warsaw and Intertelecom in Lodz.
In Warsaw, Marriot Hotel will take place 6th PLNOG on 16-17.3.2011. This
event is focusing on supporting the cooperation between network operators, enable sharing the knowledge and

Intel will provide the chips for Google TV and Logitech is going to sell standalone boxes but they are not the only
companies preparing for Google TV. One of the companies to incorporate the Google's TV service is Antik Technology,
which is preparing to integrate Google TV into their Juice set-top boxes.
July 27, 2010 – A recently announced Google's Android-based TV platform
is a few months away from releasing. Google TV blends television with Internet capabilities and will be
supported not only in the already announced Logitech Revue. Antik Technology plans to bring the features of
Google TV to the owners of its Juice set-top boxes.
Google TV is designed to work with any TV operator
and will enable the owners of the Juice set-top boxes to interact with web content and TV together seamlessly.
"We want to bring the Android platform into our set-top boxes soon, and Google TV should follow after that,
which will give the users nearly-endless possibilities of rich entertainment experiences," said Igor Kolla,
Antik Technology CEO and adds: "Google TV can further expand the current multimedia capabilities of our FullHD
Juice set-top boxes, which serve as a home entertainment centre with DualTV support."
Android-powered
Juice devices will run the Chrome web browser, allowing users access to the web along with a wide range of rich
entertainment content options. The integration of the Google's mobile platform into set-top boxes will also
allow the users to use their Android smartphones as a remote control. Support for many existing Android
applications will also be built-in and custom apps designed for TV are expected to follow. Antik Technology
plans to finish the integration of Google TV by the end of this year so that the service is prepared for 2011,
when Google TV is expected to launch in Europe. Google TV shall run on Juice Pro - FullHD IPTV set-top boxes,
which represent the Antik's flagship product featuring embedded 4-port managed switch, free middleware, Home
Media Centre and DualTV (watching 2 different channels on 2 different TVs) support. It was designed with the aim

Juice first time presented in Moscow at CIS-wide Digital Media venue. Senior officials from more than 100 internet
providers across Russia and CIS countries attended our booth from 2nd to 4th of February 2010. Dual TV support of
Juice STB was far the most attractive feature.
Tens of thousands visitors attended All-Russian Digital Media Trade Show
CSTB 2010 in huge Crocus Centre on Moscow's outskirts. Digital Content and Digital Content Delivery were the top
